IMPORTANT:  Please Note – The attached costume plot is a “suggested” design interpretation of your production and may differ greatly from the Costume World stock.  To guarantee a costume selection that is in closest possible accordance with your specifications, our Designer/Costumer will advise you of the costume options currently available.

Don Quixotes (Cervantes):

Sleeveless doublet, shirt with flowing sleeves, breeches, black cape, black brimmed beret

as Quixote:

Add Breastplate, helmet with bedraggled feathers, right gauntlet, left greave, second helmet with extra feather.   Add nightshirt for “Death Scene”.

Sancho:

Homespun shirt, vest, belt, breeches, hose and Beefeater hat

Aldonza (Dulcinea):

Combination blouse-leotard (nude fabric and fishnet), brown corselette, Orange homespun skirt, rape skirt (nude sheer), draped apron.  Green homespun skirt (after: Rape skirt), monkscloth jacket (dark), large shawl, small shawl

Innkeeper as Governor:

Tunic, shirt with flowing sleeves, breeches, tights.  Remove tunic, add apron and hanging cap as Innkeeper.  Night shirt and cap in “Night” Scene.

Padre as Prisoner:

Ragged character shirt and breeches.  Add brown monk’s gown and skull cap as Padre, Crucifix.

Dr. Carrasco as Prisoner (The Duke):

Black doublet, breeches, tights, cape.

As Dr. Carrasco:  Add doctor’s black gown and hat

As Knight of the Mirrors:  Add very shiny breastplate and helmet with large ornaments, Gauntlets, shield, all with Mirrors and sword

Antonia as Prisoner:

Bodice, skirt (all one piece), ragged Prisoner overskirt, Rag shawl.

Antonia (Doctor’s fiancee):

Overdresses.  Prison dress with fine dress and hat

The Barber:

Smock over breeches, homespun shirt and tights, gold Barber’s basis, belt with pouch.  Straw hat or stocking cap

As Prisoner:

Prison Poncho

Muleteers:

Each Muleteer gets character shirt, pants, tights, belt, hat vest or jerkin.  Add prison poncho as prisoners

TWO OF THE ABOVE PLAY THE HORSE AND DONKEY BY ADDING HEADS TO THEIR REGULAR GARB WITH PRISON PONCHOS

Housekeeper:

As Prisoner:  Ragged dress and shawl

As Housekeeper:  Good simple dress and hat

As Innkeeper’s Wife:  Wears worn countrywoman’s dress and apron

Nightgown and Night Cap for “Night” Scene

Ferminia:

As Prisoner:  Ragged robe or dress with shawl

As Kitchen Maid:  Very ragged dress, apron, head shawl

Guards and Captain:

Doublets, breastplates, Morion helmets, breeches and swords.  Captain has a cape.  As Squires to the Knight of the Mirrors:  Add Black hoods, tabbards with Silver trim, gauntlets and shields.

Men of Inquisition:

Long black monk’s robes with hoods, to ankle.

Long Moroccan ponchos and turbans

Moorish Dancers:

Choli top, bloomers and overrobe

Shirt or poncho character top and pants.  Tights
